Rommegrot

The New York Times had an article about Rommegrot today.  While my Grandma Gert was alive, she always supplied our holidays with it and lefse.  There are quintessential Norwegian treats.  The preferred drinks with Rommegrot, of which I had no idea, are red currant juice, Aquavit, and beer.  I will post my Grandmother’s recipe later.
