“Critters” Feed and Seed Petting Zoo

Tony, Emma Jane and I went to a petting zoo this weekend at Critters Feed and Seed in Moorhead, MN.  I had no idea what to expect but was pleasantly surprised when we got there.  It was free to get in but cost $1 per ticket which allowed us to participate in fun events at the “farm”.  For $1 we got a bag of goat and pony food weighing approximately five pounds (no joke!), and $2 bought us a pony ride.  At the petting zoo there were also activities like pumpkin painting and face painting, sunflower oil for sale and even a kissing booth where you could pay $1 to kiss a big ugly bulldog!  I wish we would have gotten a picture of Emma’s attempted kiss…

Emma’s favorite animals to see and pet were the cats:

I thought the ducks were beautiful, and Tony got a great picture of them:

Emma wasn’t too sure about the pony…

and of course, I loved the goat:

The End.
