The Very Best of 2010!!

We are snowed in here and have been for the past few days – a nasty blizzard hit and no travel is advised for our area.  Major highways are closed so we are staying in!  Honestly, in the last 2 days I have spent all of 10 wimpy minutes outside attempting to help my sweet husband shovel the driveway…

He is sick in bed this morning and I just put Emma down for her morning nap so I have a few minutes to myself to catch up on the latest e-gossip and of course do some blogging.  As I sit here in my bathrobe with a cup of coffee and reflect on the year past, I want to share some of the year’s highlights with you.  Go ahead and get comfy, here is the BEST OF 2010:

We spent a lot of time indoors with our sweet baby (9 months)

A few trips to Mom and Dad’s to play with cousin, Jordan.

March –

April –

Emma’s first Easter! (she was born the day AFTER Easter 2009)

and of course… Emma gets to dig into her own little cake April 13th.  Happy first Birthday, sweetheart!

May –

So many things happened in May… We sadly said goodbye to our dear Papa G:

I graduated college just a week later:

Nana Rena, Mom and Dad came for the weekend and we did some major landscaping at our house:

June –

Faced the great West Fargo Flood of 2010 (this is the view from our front door):

Swam in the hotel pool while we stayed in the cities for my cousin’s wedding:

July –

Some much needed time at the lake with Millers for a 4th of July Celebration:

August –

Our Wedding!!

September –

Watching the West Fargo Days parade from our front yard:

October –

Halloween, of course and my dad’s 50th Birthday!

We also sadly said goodbye to Grandma Liz and Great Grandma Margaret.

November –

A wonderful Thanksgiving with the Breidenbach Family and news of another baby on the way!! (Okay, so this is Emma’s ultrasound picture…we haven’t gotten one of Baby #2 yet)

December –

A trip to Santa’s Village, Christmas with both families and lots of snow!

Happy New Year!

Love, Kate.
