Holy Moses!

I don’t know if you know this but I love Moses Baskets. Not only are they adorable but very functional!  We definitely plan on having our new baby sleep on the main level with us for a while… we did this with Emma and it worked great!  She was actually set up in the pack ‘n’ play in the living room just feet from our bedroom:

I’m thinking we will have this set up in the living room again, it will be great to have a place to put the baby during the day that isn’t all the way upstairs or downstairs and just a spot to keep him away (and safe) from Emma’s reach.  I think it would also be great to have a place for the baby to sleep in our room…unfortunately, we just don’t have the space for a crib or even a little bassinet and I am not a fan of baby in the bed.  He just needs to lay and be a little protected at night or downstairs, in the kitchen, outside, etc.

Emma and I browsed a few thrift stores this afternoon and I spotted this little cutie and positively could not leave the store without it:

Guess how much it was?  Read the rest of this post and you’ll find out!

Look at all the fun we’ve been having with it already:

This thing is durable and built for a silly big sister!

Whenever Emma decides she’s done playing with it, we’ll put it in its place and keep waiting for baby brother.  I’ve got the perfect spot…

I think I’m going to make a pad for it too… with that cute raised dot material (I can’t remember the name of it but it is super, super soft!)

Oh yeah, the moment you’ve all been waiting for… the price of the Moses Basket!  $3.99 !!
